
A loaded gun was seized from a carry-on bag at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers say they intercepted a 9mm handgun loaded with six bullets at the airport checkpoint on Monday. TSA officials notified the police who confiscated the gun. Officials say a Waverly man is now facing a financial penalty. Penalties for carrying weapons can reach a maximum of $15,000.
