An Edwardsville man now faces aggravated assault among other charges in connection with a shooting earlier this year in Wilkes Barre. Jonathan McGilvery was arrested by Wilkes Barre Police in the shooting back in April in River Commons Park on River Street. According to officers, James Jackson was found lying on the side of the road with a gunshot wound and told police it happened after he was arguing with the shooter. At the time he refused to identify the suspect but police used surveillance footage in the area to make the id.
