PA State Police at Wilkes Barre released information regarding an incident at Blue Chip Animal Refuge over the weekend. It happened Sunday when investigators say a former police officer allegedly showed a handgun and badge and harassed employees while looking for his dog. According to PSP, Antonio Oriolo of Sugar Notch called the shelter about his dog that had been missing. He was told the animal was not there. The 33 year old showed up at the shelter later and when told he did not have an appointment was asked to leave he ignored requests. That's when an employee saw a gun and he identified himself as a police officer, but is no longer employed by any department in that capacity. He was arraigned on among others, charges of impersonating a police officer and released on unsecured bail.
