A man from Luzerne County has a preliminary hearing later this month on charges of criminal mischief and interruption or impairment of public communication. It happened Sunday at the county's 911 Center in Hanover Township. Uriah Thomas of Kingston was arrested after police were called to the center Sunday morning just after 5am to reports of someone breaking through the gate at the facility on Young Street. The center went into lockdown for a time. He's now in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
