Luz. Co. man pleads guilty to child porn charges

A man from Forty Fort entered a guilty plea in Luzerne County Court Monday to 500 counts of possession child sexual abuse materials. David Fortin was arrested in November 2021 after Luzerne County Detectives acted on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. A search turned up hundreds of items on electronic storage devices belonging to Fortin. He has denied any physical contact with any children. He has a sentencing hearing in June and remains in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility on $300,000 bail.
