The Luzerne County Board of Elections voted yesterday to certify the November 8th general election results at a meeting held at the Luzerne County Courthouse. The board once again heard numerous people speak out urging them to not certify the election and others to certify the results. The final vote was 3-2 and the election was certified. Many however feel the discussion is not yet over, because the issue of how it came to this still must be addressed. That included how polling places in the county ran out of paper on election day. That caused polls to be open longer to accommodate voters and more provisional ballots to be used.
