Luzerne County man pleads guilty to raping girls

A Hunlock Creek man admitted that he raped and abused young girls for several years. According to court records 47 year old John Martin pleaded guilty to three felony counts of child rape and three misdemeanor counts of indecent assault. Luzerne County Judge David W. Lupas accepted the plea and ordered that the Pennsylvania Sexual Offenders Assessment Board conduct an evaluation. Martin is scheduled for sentencing Dec. 27.
