Luzerne County Manager Romilda Crocamo announced Monday that the county will host a special public town hall meeting this week dedicated entirely to local roads, bridges, and infrastructure investments.
The town hall is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. It will take place at the Luzerne County Operations Building, located at 1199 Wyoming Ave. in Wyoming, near the county-owned Wyoming Valley Airport.
According to county officials, the goal of the meeting is to provide taxpayers with a transparent progress report and a preview of upcoming work. Infrastructure repairs consistently rank among the top concerns for local motorists.
"We are not here to make promises. We are here to show results and to be honest with the public about what we have done, what we are doing, and what we intend to do next," Crocamo said in the announcement. "The people of this county deserve nothing less."
The administration’s presentation will focus on two major areas:
- Completed Work: A thorough review of road and bridge projects finalized over the past year, highlighting specific locations, the scope of the repairs, and project outcomes.
- Future Investments: A forward-looking preview of infrastructure work slated for the coming year, including projects currently moving through the design, permitting, or procurement phases.
Following the presentation, county leadership will transition the meeting into an open forum. This will give attending residents an opportunity to directly ask questions, voice concerns, and share their neighborhood infrastructure priorities with county officials. The event is completely open to the public.
