A Luzerne County man who was previously accused of pointing a gun at police and a Children & Youth caseworker, was arrested Wednesday on additional charges. 40-year old Cory Crudop, of Nanticoke is accused of beating his pregnant girlfriend and threatening to murder her while shoving a gun in her mouth. He also face charges of smashing the woman's windshield with a car battery while her 11-month-old daughter was in the back seat. Court papers say the incident took place on July 12, two days before Crudop is alleged to have pulled a gun on law enforcement. A magistrate denied bail, deeming him a danger to society. He is in the Luzerne County Prison with a hearing set for later this month.
