TAYLOR, Pa. — A man has been found guilty of multiple charges after firing a weapon outside a local Walmart last year, prosecutors announced today.

Lackawanna County District Attorney Brian Gallagher stated that a two-day jury trial concluded with the conviction of Mark Langevine. The jury found Langevine guilty of aggravated assault alongside 11 other related charges.

According to authorities, the conviction stems from an incident in April of 2025 in the parking lot of the Walmart store located in Taylor. Investigators determined that Langevine fired a handgun at a group of people during a confrontation outside the business.

Following the jury's guilty verdict, Langevine now faces a maximum sentence of up to 31 years behind bars. A sentencing date has not yet been announced.
