Man killed in Luzerne County house explosion

A man is dead after a reported house explosion in Luzerne County early Wednesday morning. Several fire departments spent hours battling the flames at a home on Cabana Lane in Sugarloaf Township around 4:30. According to reports the owner of the home said an explosion destroyed part of the house and caused the fire. The Fire Chief confirms that a man, whose name has not yet been released, was killed in the fire. Police are investigating the cause of the fire in Luzerne County.
