The former Pocono Manor in Monroe County will be home to a new resort with a tropical flare. Announcement was made Monday of the first ever Margaritaville Resort Village coming in 2024. Yes that Margaritaville, with the same sense of escapism. The Poconos location will be in keeping with other restaurants and hotels in the brand and will be home to an iconic LandShark Bar and Grill, as well as camping options, several restaurants, swimming pools and live entertainment. Construction is set to begin next year. It took fire crews two days to douse the flames of the 117 year old Pocono Manor when it burned in 2019. A cause was never determined.
