Officials in Lackawanna County say that more mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus have been found in South Scranton and the East Mountain section of the city. The positive samples were collected on July 16 at Robinson Park near Yesu Drive, and at Palm Street and Crown Avenue. Residents are advised to eliminate standing water on their properties as that could be a breeding area for mosquitoes.
