A Scranton man serving life in prison for murder had his petition to have another day in court denied by U.S. District Judge Malachy Mannion. 33 year old Neil Pal's 2014 conviction for the murder of 24 year old Frank Bonacci of Dunmore will stand. At trial, Pal admitted he drove Jason Dominick and Bonacci, 24, of Dunmore, to an area off Ridge Row in Scranton, expecting they were going to fight. He claimed Dominick shot Bonacci in the head instead. Dominick, 34, of Scranton, was convicted at a separate trial of third-degree murder and was sentenced to 40 to 80 years in prison.
