A Butler Township man was sentenced to eight months in jail Thursday following an incident where he exposed himself to an Uber driver in Luzerne County. Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas Judge Michael T. Vough ordered 33-year-old Sean Able Ortiz, of Drums, to serve the term at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility after Ortiz entered a plea to a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure.
The charges stem from an August 2025 arrest by Sugarloaf Township police after a female driver reported that Ortiz exposed himself and engaged in a lewd act in the back seat during a ride. According to court records, the driver activated a camera to record the incident, which investigators later used as key evidence in the case.
