A New Jersey homicide suspect was taken into custody early Thursday morning following a multi-agency raid at a home in Lackawanna County.
Local police in Dickson City assisted the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force and investigators from New Jersey in executing an arrest warrant at a residence located at 1050 Carmalt Street around 6:30 a.m.
The fugitive, identified as Dion Danir Johnson, was wanted by authorities in connection with an active homicide investigation in Essex County, New Jersey. Following the arrest, investigators conducted a thorough search of the Dickson City property and recovered unspecified evidence related to the case. Johnson is currently being held in Pennsylvania on multiple charges as he awaits extradition back to New Jersey.
