Tree branches were also brought down in parts of Dickson City last evening. Some homes were damaged. Members of the National Weather Service will be in the area to investigate the incidents in Lackawanna County later today. Also earlier in the day, nasty weather yesterday brought down power lines and closed roads for a time in several areas. A tornado came down in one part of Union County late Sunday afternoon along Route 15 in Kelly Township. Several businesses were also damaged along Westbranch Highway. There were no reports of injuries. All roadways have since reopened.
