A New York man faces multiple charges following a high-speed police pursuit through several Lackawanna County communities early Tuesday morning. Officers with the Olyphant Police Department initially attempted to pull over two SUVs around 4:00 p.m., after noticing that one of the vehicles was operating with a stolen license plate. The drivers refused to pull over, sparking a multi-borough chase that traveled through Blakely, Olyphant, and Throop before the vehicles hit a dead end just after 4:00 a.m.
At the termination of the pursuit, authorities apprehended 20-year-old Tylor Graham. Despite claiming to investigators that he was merely a passenger during the incident, Graham has been officially charged with evading arrest, fleeing or eluding an officer, and receiving stolen property. Olyphant police are leading the ongoing investigation and are actively searching for the drivers and other occupants who managed to flee the scene and evade capture.
