HARRISBURG, Pa. – Time is quickly running out for voting-age Pennsylvania residents who wish to cast a ballot in the upcoming election. The deadline to register to vote in the Commonwealth is Monday, October 20th.
The municipal election, scheduled for November 4th, includes important local races and judicial contests that directly impact communities across the state.
To be eligible to register in Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth’s website states you must meet three key requirements:
Be a U.S. citizen for at least one month before the election.
Be a resident of your election district for at least 30 days before the election.
Be at least 18 years old on or before November 4th.
Eligible residents can register online through the Pennsylvania Department of State’s website or by submitting a paper application to their local county election office. Applications must be received by the end of the day on Monday to ensure eligibility for the November 4th election.
