Things look different if you are parking along Broad Street in downtown Hazleton. Eight new touch screen parking kiosks have replaced 80 the old parking meters. At a cost of $60,000, the kiosks are solar powered, have displays in English and Spanish and meet ADA standards. The pay by plate parking kiosks offer step by step instructions and take payment by coins, debit or credit cards. You can find out more and watch videos on how to operate the kiosks at hazletoncity.org/departments.
