HARRISBURG, PA — A joint state and federal law enforcement investigation has resulted in criminal charges against 12 men accused of operating a multi-million-dollar illicit drug trafficking network that funneled high-potency THC products into convenience stores and smoke shops across Pennsylvania.
Attorney General Dave Sunday announced the arrests following extensive raids executed across three primary distribution warehouses located in Jenkins Township (Luzerne County), Plum Borough (Allegheny County), and Bensalem (Bucks County). During the search warrants, state agents seized more than 150,000 illicit items, including unregulated high-potency marijuana extracts and edibles.
According to the Office of Attorney General, the operation utilized a sophisticated distribution network that moved contraband from central warehouse hubs directly to retail shelves throughout the Commonwealth.
In addition to drug trafficking offenses, several defendants face felony counts of corrupt organizations and money laundering. Financial investigators uncovered approximately $18.7 million in illegal proceeds that were systematically laundered through a series of shell companies and front LLCs to conceal the operation's revenue streams.
The long-term investigation involved assistance from local police departments, county district attorneys, and federal law enforcement partners.
