The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are moving on after a dominant 4-1 victory over the Hershey Bears on Thursday night, clinching their Atlantic Division Semifinals series three games to one. By eliminating the defending champions, the Penguins have punched their ticket to the Atlantic Division Finals, where they will face the Springfield Thunderbirds in another best-of-five showdown. This marks the second time these two teams have met in the postseason, and the Penguins enter the series with momentum after winning three of their four regular-season meetings against Springfield.
The quest for the Calder Cup continues at home, as the Penguins will host Game 1 and Game 2 at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza. The full series schedule is as follows:
