Person struck by vehicle in Luzerne County parking lot

One person was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car in Luzerne County. Emergency crews, along with Dallas Borough Police, responded to the parking lot of the Dallas Shopping Center around noon Wednesday after a woman was struck by a pickup truck. There is no word yet on the woman's condition. First responders say this is the second day in a row someone was struck by a vehicle in that parking lot.
