Scranton Police are asking anyone with information on who may have left a puppy in a dumpster to contact them. The pit bull puppy was found in a dumpster in the 1800 block of Brick Avenue Sunday afternoon. The pup is now under the care of Griffin Pond Animal Shelter in South Abington Township. The dog did not appear to be injured.
