
HAZLE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are asking the public for help locating a dirt bike operator who disrupted a traffic stop and then led a trooper on a brief pursuit in Hazle Township.
The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. when the man interfered with an active traffic stop. A PSP trooper attempted to stop the suspect, leading to a chase that was quickly terminated for safety reasons.
State police have provided a detailed description of the man and his vehicle. The suspect is described as a white, non-Hispanic male in his early 20s, approximately six feet tall, with a thin build.
The dirt bike is highly distinct, described as purple and black with gold spokes and bearing plates numbered 44.
