Pennsylvania American Water reminds you parts of the walking path around the Lake Scranton reservoir will temporarily close to pedestrian traffic beginning today. The walking path will be closed from the area where the path meets the roadway at the small stone bridge to the dam near the fishing pier. The closure is necessary as a safety precaution due to increased truck traffic on the roadway weekdays until July 28. The path will be open Saturday and Sunday then close again next Monday to reopen on Saturday July 29. Customers are reminded not to walk around closed gates or fencing to access the closed portions of the path.
