President Joe Biden will be in Scranton on Friday to attend the funeral of his childhood friend. According to reports, the President will be at St. Paul's Church in Scranton's Green Ridge section Friday morning. Scranton Police have posted the surrounding streets as tow-away zones from 6 a.m. today to 12 noon Friday. Thomas J. Bell of Waverly died last week after an illness. Biden has long mentioned their friendship in speeches and appearances, and both grew up in the Green Ridge section of Scranton.
