A Luzerne County woman who admitted trespassing into the U.S. Capitol during last year's riot has been sentenced to 60 days in prison, 60 hours of community service and three years probation. 31-year old Annie Howell of Swoyersville previously pleaded guilty to one count of trespassing on restricted property in exchange for federal prosecutors dropping more serious felony charges against her, including obstructing an official proceeding of Congress. The sentence will be served in six, 10 day increments. The unique schedule will allow Howell to be a home for her 8-year-old son.
