Beaver Stadium's field has a new name. The stadium at University Park will be named the West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium beginning with the 2025 season, through the 2039 season. The Penn State Board of Trustees voted on the name by a 22 to 8 vote. One of the dissenters was former Lackawanna County Commissioner and one time Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin. West Shore Home is a technology-enabled home remodeling services provider based in Mechanicsburg Pa. and the Werzyn Family, founders of West Shore Home, donated 50 million dollars to Penn State for the naming rights..
