RailRiders home opener postponed; double-header today

Last night’s Scranton Wilkes Barre Railriders home opener at PNC Field in Moosic was postponed due to unsafe playing conditions. According to reports, the field was frozen due to the recent cold weather, and Railrider management decided to postpone the game about 30 minutes before the starting time. The game will now be made up as a doubleheader this afternoon. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m, and the first pitch will be at 4:05 p.m.
