At last night's emergency Luzerne County Council meeting, members voted to accept the resignation of Luzerne County Manager Randy Robertson. Council also decided his last day on the job will be today, not December 14 as his resignation letter stated. They are also approved to select a new three person citizen manager search committee to look for new candidates for the position. Brian Swetz was named acting county manager in the interim.
