SCRANTON, PA — A hours-long standoff ended Thursday afternoon after police and SWAT team members forced their way into a West Scranton residence to take a wanted man into custody. Scranton police officers initially arrived at a home located at 1127 Luzerne St. to serve an active arrest warrant for Harold Gonzalez, who was wanted on prior charges including aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and state parole violations.
