SCRANTON, PA — A 29-year-old Lackawanna County man is in custody following an investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact with a minor, according to authorities.
Brendon Kapschull, of Scranton, was arrested on charges of indecent assault involving a child under the age of 13. The charges stem from an investigation launched in September after county detectives received a formal report alleging the sexual misconduct against a 13-year-old victim.
In addition to the assault charges, law enforcement officials confirmed that Kapschull faces separate charges filed by the Dunmore Police Department for resisting arrest during his apprehension.
Following his arrest, Kapschull was remanded to the Lackawanna County Prison pending preliminary arraignment and court proceedings.
