A family dispute led to a deadly shooting early Monday morning in South Scranton. Officers responded to the 1700 block of Pittston Avenue around 3 a.m. after reports of gunfire. Investigators said Walter Reyes died after being shot multiple times by his brother, Carlos Rivera, who was taken into custody. Rivera faces homicide, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment charges. It was the 4th homicide in Scranton this year.
