A Scranton man is facing first degree murder charges for a deadly armed robbery. Shelton Miles was arraigned in front of a Lackawanna County judge Wednesday on new charges, including first-degree murder. Police say Miles walked into a convenience store along North Main Avenue in Scranton and shot Jose Miguel Tatis in the head, then shot a female employee in the leg. Tatis was hospitalized and later died. Miles' next court appearance is scheduled for April 3rd.
