A Scranton man has been charged with threatening police officers in Luzerne County. According to court records 51 year old Thomas Leano threatened and spat at police officers with the Wyoming Area Regional Police Department early this morning after he was observed standing in the middle of Wyoming Avenue at about 6:40 a.m. impeding traffic. When an officer led Leano to a sidewalk, court records say, Leano became aggressive and threatened to harm the officers. He is jailed in Luzerne County after being arraigned on multiple charges.
