
Scranton Police have one person in custody following a shooting incident at a downtown gas station on Saturday night. The incident occurred at the Turkey Hill on Mulberry Street around 9 p.m.
According to police reports, 23-year-old Jeffrey Warren of Scranton fired shots into the air after a verbal altercation with another man. The dispute reportedly took place inside the store. There were no injuries reported, and Warren was taken into custody without further incident.
Police are continuing their investigation into the exact circumstances that led to the altercation and the discharge of the firearm. The store was temporarily closed while officers processed the scene.
