Scranton woman charged with firing gun in the city

A Scranton woman discharged a gun in the city's West Side Sunday and was taken into custody. Scranton Police say it happened just before 6pm at Danny's Body Shop on Luzerne Street. 45 year old Johanna Rivera-Garcia was charged with, among others, terroristic threats for allegedly threatening to shoot her husband. She told officers the gun accidentally discharged. There were no injuries.
