Wilkes Barre Police are still searching for 54 year old Louis Soto Madera who is considered armed and dangerous. It began yesterday morning when they received a call to a home on Sambourne Street of shots fired. When they arrived they learned Madera had barricaded himself in an upstairs bedroom after firing shots at a family member. Throughout the day members of the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team and other members of law enforcement surrounded the home while a helicopter flew overhead, all trying to persuade him to come out. Late yesterday afternoon police went in and found no one inside. If you know his whereabouts you're asked to contact Wilkes Barre Police.
