It was a weekend filled with Irish cheer in northeastern Pennsylvania, and the fun is wrapping up Sunday in Wilkes-Barre. The cold and rain didn’t stop hundreds of people from celebrating the 44th Annual St. Patrick’s parade in Wilkes-Barre. The color green could be seen throughout the Diamond City as crowds came out to celebrate Irish heritage. More than 100 groups of nonprofits, local leaders, and marching units and big balloons marched through the streets of Downtown Wilkes-Barre. And Saturday's rain didn't stop Scranton's 62nd annual St. Patrick's parade on Saturday.
