The family of a man who died in August of last year are now asking for a federal investigation into his death and believe the Wilkes Barre Police Department did not investigate his death properly. An autopsy revealed 32 year old Joshua Taylor died from "blunt abdominal trauma" and his death was ruled homicide. Members of his family however say even though the incident is on surveillance video, no one has yet been held accountable. Family members spoke out at last week's Wilkes Barre City Council meeting. The investigation into his death was referred to the State Attorney General's office at the request of the Luzerne County District Attorney.
