Two decades after The Office first premiered, the Electric City is preparing to welcome a major tribute to the beloved sitcom that put Scranton on the pop culture map.
The Everhart Museum, in partnership with the Lackawanna County Visitors Bureau, will host The Office Exhibition starting September 3. The exhibit will feature original props, costumes, and set pieces from the show’s nine-season run and will take over the museum’s entire Maslow Gallery—about 2,600 square feet of dedicated space.
The exhibition will be ticketed, with proceeds going toward the museum’s effort to bring cast members to Scranton for special events during the exhibition’s stay, which will run through October 2027.
Though The Office Exhibition will be a major draw, the Everhart Museum will continue hosting local art shows and rotating exhibits throughout the two-year installation. The exhibit adds to a growing number of Office-themed attractions in the area and is expected to be a major tourism boost for the city.
Fans of the show can expect an immersive experience celebrating Scranton’s most famous fictional workplace—Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
