Two people have been arrested in connection with a March shooting in Lackawanna County that left three individuals injured, while a third person faces separate drug charges linked to the case, according to local officials.
Lackawanna County District Attorney Brian Gallagher reported that Elijah Barcola of Scranton was apprehended on Thursday. Barcola had been wanted for nearly two months as the accused primary aggressor in the March 14 shooting, which took place outside Big Daddy’s Lounge in South Scranton.
The incident resulted in injuries to three people, including Barcola himself. Officials noted that one victim suffered a gunshot wound to the hand and was released from the hospital the following day, while another victim required several days of hospitalization after being shot multiple times.
