
HAZLETON, PA – An early morning fire at a Hazleton apartment building has left three people hospitalized.
The fire broke out shortly after midnight at a building located at the corner of East Walnut and South Wyoming Streets. According to officials, three individuals were transported to the hospital for injuries. One of the victims reportedly jumped from the burning building to escape the flames. There is no information available yet on their conditions. 9 people made it out of the fire. A neighboring home was also damaged.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by a State Police fire marshal.
