Toy guns loaded with small colorful gel pellets that expand in water have been banned from parks in Old Forge. According to a post on the Old Forge Borough's Facebook page, Old Forge police say the pellets in the toy guns called Orbeez, can be frozen and when they strike someone can cause bruises and possibly serious injuries. New signs prohibiting all toy guns including Nerf guns, squirt guns, BB/pellet guns and toy swords, from parks and other public places in the Borough will be going up soon.
