Two Pennsylvania men face multiple criminal charges following a series of vehicle thefts and credit card fraud incidents spanning several Luzerne County municipalities during the spring and summer of 2026. State Police charged 29-year-old Gregory Clifford of Harrisburg and 26-year-old Naseir Robinson of Hanover Township with burglary, theft from motor vehicles, access device fraud, and receiving stolen property.
According to authorities, the string of thefts began in April 2026, targeting vehicles in Sugar Notch Borough, Laflin Borough, and Jenkins Township. The incidents continued into June 2026, expanding to Dallas Borough, Dallas Township, and Wright Township. Investigators state the pair stole various personal belongings from unlocked vehicles, including cash, wallets, purses, identification cards, credit cards, and handguns.
State Police allege that Clifford and Robinson then used the stolen credit cards to buy merchandise at several retail stores throughout the area. Both suspects are currently in custody on separate matters, with Clifford housed at SCI Camp Hill and Robinson held at the Northumberland County Jail.
