Vice President Kamala Harris greeted a capacity crowd at Wilkes University on Friday as she campaigned in Pennsylvania. The Democrat nominee for president spoke with voters there about supporting small businesses, building more housing and expanding the child tax credit. She said the country “needs a president of the United States who works for all the American people.” “We have some hard work ahead of us. But hard work is good work. Hard work is joyful work," she said. “Generations of people before us led the fight for freedom; now the baton is in our hands.”
