WB Twp. to discuss proposed warehouse project tonight

When Wilkes Barre Township Council meets tonight, on the agenda, a discussion centering on a proposed warehouse project for the community. It was in November of last year, council voted down permission for a conditional use permit to Bluecup Ventures LLC to build a 940,000 square foot distribution center on mine scarred land off Johnson Street. The company filed an appeal and last month a Luzerne County judge ruled against the township. Council is expected to discuss if they will consider an appeal of that ruling. The meeting is tonight at 7 at the municipal building on Watson Street.
