If you shop at Wegmans, prepare for the end of plastic bags. The company based in Rochester New York announced they will be phasing out plastic bags company wide by the end of this year. The company will be offering reusable paper bags at a price of five cents per bag. A similar incentive has already been offered in New York and money collected has been donated to local food banks and United Way. You can also purchase their reusable grocery bags or bring your own.
