A Wilkes-Barre man faces a strangulation charge and other criminal counts after police said he choked, punched and threatened to kill his girlfriend. Imar Pena faces a felony count of aggravated assault and misdemeanor counts of simple assault, strangulation, making terroristic threats and harassment following a domestic dispute on Tuesday. The woman was transported to Geisinger Community Medical Center for further evaluation.
